Montreal, Que. - June 28, 2021 - After successfully providing Waze and Google with the data needed to direct Canadians to COVID-19 testing sites, Montreal-based Clinia Health Inc. is proud to announce that it will now be powering searches for vaccination sites in Canada on Waze and Google Maps.

Vaccination is a critical step to help us all re-open our cities and provinces, and together we hope we can facilitate the process for every Canadian looking to get their vaccines.

Clinia is thrilled to be working directly with the Ontario, Saskatchewan and Nova Scotian governments to ensure all data is accurate and aligned with their records. They have reached out to the other provincial governments, and are in discussions with them to get the information they need. In the meantime, they are pulling data from healthcare reference sites to ensure they're directing citizens to the most up to date sites.. The database -- with over 6,500 vaccination sites -- was integrated into Waze and Google in March 2021, with the data being refreshed multiple times on a weekly basis. Clinia’s listing data includes all vaccination and testing sites such as pharmacies, clinics, as well as local sites (schools, venues, etc.), ensuring Canadians can find the vaccination site they need.
